MY STORY

Hi again and welcome! My name is Teri. I bet you are wondering about how my domain came to be, aren’t you?

So... back when my youngest son was 2, I was trying to come up with a domain name that was a little more than just my name. I felt like that was a little too simple and BORING. I racked my brain searching to see what was available. I wanted something with a visual component, maybe something abstract. I looked for days, brainstormed with myself and then searched, but everything was taken.

Then one day while driving with my 2.5year old son, I heard him say “SEE DAT.” Once I was at a red light, I turned my body to the back seat and saw him pointing to a sign that had piqued his interest. All of a sudden I had an epiphany. I rushed home to see if SEEDAT DESIGN was available and it was. I then looked for a way to make it shorter and more abstract. BOOM: the letter C. So that’s how my domain name—CDAT—came to be. It is very near and dear to my heart for many reasons: (1) my son helped bring it to life and (2) my love for design.
